Ensure Application Delivery with Microsoft and NetQoS
Microsoft is a recognized leader in desktop applications, and its commitments to IT operations and unified communications are extending its reach even farther. As data, voice, and video converge on a single network, more complex network management strategies are required, but greater efficiency and lower expenditures remain paramount concerns. To address this challenge, NetQoS and Microsoft have partnered to leverage existing Microsoft infrastructure to ensure application services are delivered reliably across the world’s largest networks.
Provide Consistent Unified Communications Service Delivery with Microsoft and NetQoS
NetQoS and Microsoft have partnered to provide unified communications (UC) quality of experience reporting for Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) environments. NetQoS Unified Communications Monitor, the UC quality of experience module of the NetQoS Performance Center, interoperates with Microsoft OCS to provide quality metrics such as call jitter, call latency, and video frame loss. To minimize the management footprint without sacrificing performance, NetQoS Unified Communications Monitor passively collects VoIP and video quality data within OCS environments without deploying a single server agent or probe.
Reduce Mean-Time-To-Repair with Microsoft and NetQoS
Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) enables IT staff to manage data center infrastructure availability from a single management platform. The partnership between NetQoS and Microsoft allows IT staff to enrich Microsoft SCOM with deep network and application performance data and analysis from NetQoS. The NetQoS Management Pack displays application delivery and network performance detail reports in the SCOM user interface alongside existing reports. In addition, NetQoS reports in SCOM provide direct access into the NetQoS Performance Center Web interface.
